About The Event
Advancing gender equality in the workplace requires intentional leadership, fair employment practices and opportunities for women to grow and lead. The third session of the 2026 Target Gender Equality Accelerator will explore practical approaches to strengthening women’s participation, well-being, professional growth and leadership development, drawing on Women’s Empowerment Principles 2, 3 and 4.
The session will feature a leadership spotlight by Annette Kimitei, Managing Director of Senaca East Africa, who will share lessons from the company’s experience advancing women’s participation and leadership in the traditionally male-dominated security sector. The discussion will consider how inclusive workplace practices, leadership commitment and accountability can help organisations create more equitable opportunities for women.
The session will take place on Tuesday, 27 October 2026. Participation is limited to organisations participating in the 2026 Target Gender Equality Accelerator.
