About The Event

Explore how businesses can manage their impacts on workers, communities, supply chains, and stakeholders.

As a continuation of Global Compact Network Kenya’s 2026 sustainability capacity-building series, this introductory masterclass will focus on the social dimension of sustainability and what it means for business.

The webinar will examine how companies can identify and manage their impacts on people across workplaces, supply chains, communities, customer relationships, and wider stakeholder groups.

Participants will gain practical insights into key social sustainability themes including human rights, labour rights, inclusion, employee wellbeing, responsible supply chains, and community impact, and how these issues connect to business resilience, stakeholder trust, market access, and long-term competitiveness.

The session will also introduce relevant global frameworks including The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the Women’s Empowerment Principles, while helping organizations identify practical first steps to strengthen responsible business practice.

This webinar is open to UN Global Compact participants and non-participants. Organizations are encouraged to share the registration link with relevant teams, networks, suppliers and value chain partners.
