Advancing Gender Equality Through Capital Markets
To mark International Women’s Day 2026, Global Compact Network Kenya, in partnership with the Nairobi Securities Exchange, UN Women, and the International Finance Corporation, will convene the Ring the Bell for Gender Equality Ceremony in Nairobi. Part of a global movement led by stock exchanges worldwide, the initiative mobilizes business and financial markets to strengthen women’s participation in the workplace, marketplace, and community.
Under the global theme, Rights. Justice. Action. For All Women and Girls, the ceremony will bring together senior leaders from business, investment, and policy to reflect on progress and accelerate practical steps toward gender equality. Participation is by invitation.
