About The Event

Global Compact Network Kenya, in partnership with the Royal Danish Embassy, Danish Industry East Africa, and DanChurchAid, will convene a closed-door Private Sector Pre-Dialogue on Business and Human Rights in East and Horn of Africa under the theme Turning Compliance into Competitive Advantage.

This invitation-only session will bring together a select group of private sector leaders and practitioners to examine the evolving responsible business conduct landscape across East and Horn of Africa and its implications for companies operating within regional and global value chains.

The dialogue will provide an opportunity for candid peer exchange on emerging sustainability and human rights due diligence expectations, competitiveness, market access, responsible business conduct, and the practical realities of implementation across diverse operating environments.

Insights from the session will contribute to the broader 2nd East Africa Business and Human Rights Dialogue, taking place on 10 and 11 June 2026, helping to inform private sector perspectives and recommendations for regional action.

Participation is limited to invited organizations and individuals.
