Understanding Frameworks, Regulation and Market Expectations
Global Compact Network Kenya, in partnership with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, will convene a one day workshop to strengthen private sector understanding of business and human rights frameworks and the evolving regulatory environment.
The session will provide UNGC participants with a practical overview of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), Kenya’s National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights, and emerging regulatory, investor and market expectations shaping responsible business practices.
Through expert insights and facilitated discussion, the workshop will explore what these developments mean for corporate governance, compliance and operational decision making, while creating space for dialogue between business leaders, policy actors, and human rights practitioners.
