Global Compact Network Kenya will convene a half-day executive workshop for selected agribusiness companies on integrating responsible business conduct into business strategy, governance, operations and value chains.
The workshop is designed as a practical executive-level session to support agribusiness leaders in understanding the growing relevance of responsible business conduct to competitiveness, market access, sustainability and long-term resilience within agricultural value chains.
Participants will gain practical insights into the business case for responsible business conduct, emerging buyer, investor and regulatory expectations, human rights, labour and supply chain risks within agribusiness, governance and leadership implications, and practical approaches for integrating responsible business conduct into company operations and value chains.
The session will also provide a platform for peer learning and dialogue among industry leaders on the evolving sustainability landscape shaping Kenya’s agricultural sector and export competitiveness.
Participation is targeted at agribusiness companies operating within the tea, horticulture, floriculture, coffee and avocado value chains that meet the eligibility criteria shared with invited associations.
