Join Global Compact Network Kenya, in partnership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), for an introductory webinar on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and IFRS S2).
As sustainability reporting requirements continue to evolve, organizations are increasingly expected to disclose sustainability-related and climate-related information in a consistent, transparent, and decision-useful manner. This session will provide a practical introduction to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) S1 and IFRS S2, including sustainability-related financial disclosures, climate-related disclosure requirements, greenhouse gas emissions reporting, implementation considerations, and assurance requirements.
The webinar will also lay the foundation for more in-depth capacity-building through follow-up in-person workshops planned for September 2026 and is intended for professionals in sustainability, finance, risk, compliance, strategy, and corporate reporting who are preparing for the evolving sustainability disclosure landscape.
