Bridging the Divide: Redefining the Private Sector’s Social Contract for a Resilient Kenya
Global Compact Network Kenya, in collaboration with Oxfam in Kenya, is convening a high-level Business Leaders Dialogue under the theme Bridging the Divide: Redefining the Private Sector’s Social Contract for a Resilient Kenya.
This dialogue will bring together CEOs and senior executives to reflect on how rising inequality is reshaping the operating environment for business in Kenya and to explore the leadership actions through which business can contribute to economic stability, social cohesion and long-term enterprise resilience.
Across Kenya, economic growth has continued while inequality has widened, creating new pressures on the social and economic environment in which businesses operate. These disparities are influencing workforce dynamics, shaping public expectations of business, and contributing to policy uncertainty, social unrest and heightened investor scrutiny. For business leaders, these trends are increasingly defining the conditions for sustainable growth, enterprise resilience and long-term economic stability.
The dialogue will provide a space for candid exchange on the strategic implications of these shifts and the role of principled private sector leadership in shaping a more resilient and inclusive economic future.
If your organization is a UN Global Compact participant and a C-suite executive would like to attend, please contact info@globalcompactkenya.org to receive the registration link. Participation is limited and subject to availability.
