June 23, 2017: The Global Compact Network Kenya helds its 3rd Annual Members Meeting. The meeting brought together 50 UN Global Compact signatories in Kenya drawn from the Business and Non-Business sector to communicate and discuss the network’s activity report , the 2020 strategy and the value proposition, all positioned to help grow the Network. The Annual Meeting also saw the launch of the Networks first Annual Report. Download the report here

May 18 & June 20, 2017: Two COP trainings were offered to Non-communicating and new signatories aimed at providing guidance on integrating and reporting on the UN Global Compact 10 Principles. The trainings focused on:  the Introduction and importance of a Communication On Progress report to a business, the process of compiling and submitting the report

April 21, 2017: The Global Compact Network Kenya was awarded the 2017 Local Networks Award for the best demonstration of peer mentorship and role modeling that led to the establishment of a Global Compact network in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The award was presented to the Kenya Network Country Coordinator Ms. Judy Njino during a two day-event attended by more than 300 local and global leaders from business, finance, civil society, Government and the UN on Making Global Goals Local Businesses in– India, in New Delhi.
